Autumn Afternoon

Naked,
I stand,
In the midst of the afternoon’s warming.
The sun,
Bows gracefully,
Before it exists.
The Wind,
Breathes a hot sigh.
The whole world,
Is relaxed,
And breathing slowly.
With each exhale,
The leaves rattle,
And some,
Dare to disconnect,
From all they know,
And fall,
To the ground.
There is no death here,
There is adventure,
Exploration,
A jumping off,
Courage,
And all the virtues,
We humans,
Must learn.
